Update!

Posted in Uncategorized on November 13th, 2009 by Zach

It’s Friday the 13th and I figured I’d update you all on what’s been going on the past couple weeks. The haunted house is completely torn down and GONE now. It’s all moved out into storage where it will sit dormant for the winter. All attention right now has been turned to our Christmas display. Setup will start this weekend, and the show will run every day in December. If you’d like to learn more about our display, check out www.wiechmannwinter.com!

I again would like to thank everyone who helped out with our attraction. We had a great year, and can’t thank you enough for everything that you do! We will hopefully be having a cast party here in the next couple months… But until then, thanks, and stay spooky!

What Goes Up…

Must come down! We started tearing down the haunt Saturday night around 11:30pm shortly after closing. We worked well into the night and quit around 4:00am. We then got back to work around 10:00am Sunday and again worked well into the night. We will continue to work on tearing down here and there throughout the week as time allows, but will be back full force Friday through Sunday. I will try and get some pictures of everything up here in the next couple weeks!

Thank You!

Haunt Visit: Panic Park

Posted in Uncategorized on October 29th, 2009 by Zach

Tonight some of the FYF crew headed out to Panic Park in Cedar Falls. We were a little unsure how our visit was going to be, considering it was pouring rain out when we were driving out there. However we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found out that they have an indoor waiting area so we didn’t have to sit out in the cold rain! Not only that, but they had a covered wagon that took us down to the actual haunt… It was great!

The haunt itself was very cool. It was full of different themed rooms from a ‘Hotel Hello‘ check in desk along with an asylum, clown room, and plenty of other scares! I was very pleased with our visit and was glad that the Panic Park crew was able to recover from last years flood. I highly recommend visiting them this season! For information check out their website at www.panicpark.org.

I also want to thank Mike for inviting us out there and letting us check things out! We really appreciate it and hope you have a great season!
