Just wanted to do a quick update since I haven’t posted lately. Not a whole lot is going on right now. The past two weeks we’ve been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing of our garage and storage units. Our house and yard actually look somewhat normal now that the Christmas lights are completely down and packed away. The side yard where the haunt was last year has been raked and seeded and hopefully we’ll have it back to looking normal. The storage units are still somewhat of a mess, but hopefully in the next couple weeks or so I’ll be able to get them in a somewhat organized state.

I started construction on one tombstone, but have yet to get some pictures of it up. I’ve only got the base made and hit a snag with measurements and put it on the back burner. I’ll hopefully work on it some more this weekend and get some pictures up of the progress.

I got a couple sheets of foam board today for some new tombstones! I’m pretty excited to make some new ones considering the last time I made some was a couple years ago! I got three sheets of 1 1/2″ thick foam and some other goodies for this project. I got some foam spray adhesive to glue all the layers together, a heat gun to help harden up the foam so it doesn’t dent as easily, and some acetone to age the stones. I’m hoping to get some work done on some tomorrow… I’ll be sure to post pictures!

We FINALLY got around to getting another storage unit! Dad got it all figured out yesterday and I’m going to be moving some stuff from the old one, to the new one, so I can access some of the smaller stuff I can work on! I’m going to need HELP moving all this stuff, so if you are free tonight/tomorrow night please lend a hand! Give me a call at 319.269.9635!
