Haunt Visit: Panic Park

Posted in Uncategorized on October 29th, 2009 by Zach

Tonight some of the FYF crew headed out to Panic Park in Cedar Falls. We were a little unsure how our visit was going to be, considering it was pouring rain out when we were driving out there. However we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found out that they have an indoor waiting area so we didn’t have to sit out in the cold rain! Not only that, but they had a covered wagon that took us down to the actual haunt… It was great!

The haunt itself was very cool. It was full of different themed rooms from a ‘Hotel Hello‘ check in desk along with an asylum, clown room, and plenty of other scares! I was very pleased with our visit and was glad that the Panic Park crew was able to recover from last years flood. I highly recommend visiting them this season! For information check out their website at www.panicpark.org.

I also want to thank Mike for inviting us out there and letting us check things out! We really appreciate it and hope you have a great season!

Haunt Visit: Frightmare Forest

Posted in Uncategorized on October 26th, 2009 by Zach

Sunday night some of the FYF crew headed to Cedar Raids to check out Frightmare Forest before their big move for their 2010 season. We got there about thirty minutes before they had opened so we got to sit around and enjoy their campfire they had going in there VIP area. They also had a large light/music show on the front of their facade that we watched as we waited to be let in.

The haunt itself was very well put together! The forest alone is eerie in the night so I knew the haunt was going to be good! And actually some of the best scares were some of the easiest. The two scares that got me were people just sitting out in the dark with flashlights that they would turn on and jump out in front of you… Simple, but they got me twice!

I just want to thank Ian and his crew for allowing us to come check everything out. We really enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait to see what you come up with for your 2010 season!

Be sure to check out Frightmare Forest this weekend! Check out www.frightmareforest.com for more information.
